Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilizing AutoCAD and industry specific software, the designer will space plan, specify and design turn-key spaces for a variety of corporate, healthcare and educational environments
- Meet with client(s) and the sales team to program client needs and develop product solutions
- Specify products and solutions for interior and exterior spaces
- Choose furniture and building finishes for new construction projects
- Create finish & concept boards and presentations as needed to convey concepts
- Prepare pricing proposals for end users
- Create detailed installation drawings and instructions
- Communicate with vendors and obtain quotes
- Coordinate with the Creative Director and Project Manager to ensure successful execution of projects from start to finish
- Be conscientious about the sociology of the workplace, including trends in collaborative space, co-working, executive suites, mobility, and evolving environments
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.

- Advanced customer service skills to diplomatically communicate with vendors and resolve issues

- Follow-up effectively with all staffing levels and outside vendors
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic
- Ability to demonstrate good common sense and sound judgment
- Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction
- Experience as a facilitator, and/or liaison between parties regarding building facility projects is highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree required: Architecture or Interior Design
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience at an architectural/design firm or independent work is required
- Fluency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite is required
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required
